Martial arts legend Bruce Lee has found the ultimate recognition hailed by the United States, his country of birth as an eternal part of America by the release of a sneak preview on October 30 of a commemorative stamp to be released in January 2026 by the United States Postal Service Department by the very oneness inscription, ‘BRUCE LEE AMERICA FOREVER’ with Lee pictured unleashing his Game of Death iconic flying kick in his famous yellow track suit.
It is by large the ultimate recognition of Lee by the US which has raised its hat in embracing the all-time legendary martial artist as an integral part of America.
“The stamp, designed by USPS Art Director Antonio Alcalá with artwork by Kam Mak, shows Lee (1940-73)g executing the kick against what Alcalá calls “a calligraphic yellow brushstroke.” It’s meant to refer to the classic yellow tracksuit Lee wore in the posthumously released film “Game of Death” (1978).”
“On the right side of the stamp, “BRUCE LEE” and “USA FOREVER” are printed vertically and angled to appear as if Lee’s kick were breaking them in half.”
Born in San Francisco, but torn between parental Hong Kong and America which he left to forge a tumultuous martial arts career in Asia, and hailed as the single minded great who redefined the art, Bruce Lee had literally not found the desired merit despite Hong Kong unveiling a symbolic statute of the man who reshaped the martial arts by his improvised training which he translated to filmdom culminating in Warner Brothers box office hit, ‘Enter the Dragon’ released posthumously following Lee’s untimely death in 1973 at the age of 32.
He is considered to have achieved goals going far beyond his age to being hailed as the most influentialg figure of the 21st century with generations after him attracted by his feats and poetic philosophy. .

The US Postal Serviceg on Thursday, Oct. 30, released a sneak preview of several stamps it will release next year, including one commemorating the legendary San Francisco-born martial arts movie star. It also includes boxing great Muhammad Ali.
