Nuwanidu Fernando struck an unbeaten 70 off 52 balls and Charith Asalanka 59 off 34 as SLC Greys defeated SLC Blues by 24 runs in the second fixture of the 2025 Sri Lanka Cricket T20 League Tournament at the SSC Grounds.

Batting first SLC Greys ran up 192 for 4 wickets off 20 overs and restricted SLC Blues to 168 for 8 in the allotted 20 overs with Eshan Malinga coming tops with a 4 wicket haul for 42 and Binaural Fernando 3 for 3 for 36.

The hard hitting Nuwanidu Fernando continued his recent rich run vein of scoring two forceful hundreds against Australia A in helping Sri Lanka A to draw the unofficial test series down under as he waded into the Blues attack striking 8 boundaries and a six with Lahiru Udara teaming up with a robust 41 off 24 with 7 boundaries as the pair negated the early losses of Niroshan Dickwella for 11 and Dinesh Chandimal for a duck.
Asalanka followed suit racing to 59 hammering 7 boundaries and 2 over the top against a wilting Blues attack.

SLC Blues highest scorer was opening batsman Vishen Halanbage who struck 35 off 18 balls hoisting 3 over the top and equal number of boundaries having paired with Pathum Nissanka who scored 20.
The next highest was Kusal Janith Perera with 33 off 24 with 3 boundaries and six followed by Dasun Shanaka 32 off 23 with 3 boundaries and a six.
