Nishan Madushka took apart the Bloomfield C&AC attack hammering 174 off 146 balls inclusive of 14 boundaries and 6 sixes and Dhananjaya de Silva 59 off 53 with 6 boundaries and a six as CCC thrashed Bloomfield C&AC by 134 runs in a Sri Lanka Cricket Major Clubs Limited Overs Tournament match at their home grounds yesterday.

In all tournament matches that sides took first lease by mutual consent, CCC ran up a nassive 340 for 7 wickets in 50 overs and bowled out Bloomfield C&AC for 206.

Meanwhile, NCC beat Badureliya SC by 106 runs having piled up 328 for 9 off 50 overs at their home grounds with Ahan Wickramasinghye striking 114 off 90 balls inclusive of 14 boundaries and 2 sixes while Chamika Karunaratne was unfortunate to miss his ton by five runs falling for a whirlwind 95 off 46 balls smashing 8 sixes and 7 boundaries.

Significant was Badureliya SC’s Seekuge Prasanna striking 112 off 75 smashing 10 sixes and 5 to the ropes in that lost cause.
