Galle were on 210 for 5 wickets against Dambulla after being put in to bat on the opening day of the 4-day final of the Sri Lanka Cricket National Super League Tournament yesterday at the Sinhalese Sports Club Grounds with Dinesh Chandimal leading the way with a forceful 80 off 105 balls hitting 7 fours and a six, and Oshada Fernando 52.

Fernando was forced to retire hurt with Dunith Wellalage there on 27. Avishka Perera made 26. Akila Dananjaya 2 for 53 and Mohamed Shiraz 2 for 63 were Dambulla’s main wicket takers.
