Marlbo Trading Company showcased cutting-edge technologies from the globally recognised brand FLIR at the INCO 2026 Industrial Exhibition, held from March 13 to 15 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall.
Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya visited the stall, where Marlbo staff demonstrated FLIR’s latest thermal camera innovations to the PM.
FLIR technologies are widely used across sectors such as construction, utilities, manufacturing, asset management, and defence, where accurate diagnostics and early fault detection are essential for operational reliability.
“FLIR’s thermal imaging tools enable users to detect temperature anomalies invisible to the naked eye, helping to identify potential electrical, mechanical, and structural issues at an early stage,” a Marlbo Trading official said. “This capability allows organisations to reduce unplanned downtime, improve workplace safety, and minimise costly equipment failures.”
Using sophisticated microphone arrays and real-time sound visualisation, FLIR acoustic cameras can locate leaks in compressed air, gas, and vacuum systems, as well as partial electrical discharges—even in noisy industrial environments.
These technologies help organisations enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational waste, and strengthen predictive maintenance programmes across manufacturing plants, utilities, and large-scale industrial facilities.
