The Queen of Power Ballads, Celine Dion, timelessly famous heartthrob for her rendering of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ in an emotional centuries back journey of the gripping tragic love story between a young couple interwoven in the ‘Titanic’ shipwreck, continues to move hearts wherever she sets foot on.
A stirring voice, also driven by that powerful rendering of ‘The Power of Love,’ Celine Dion , whose public appearances are limited by the stiff-person syndrome, was in the spotlight recently as the iconic musician who symbolically captured the Titanic’s most pulsating moments by her ‘this heart will go on’ of the heartbreaking young woman parting ways from her lover trapped in the engulfing waters.
She was the draw when she made a rare appearance at the ex-Beatles Paul McCartney’s Las Vegas concert on Saturday, Oct. 4.
It was momentous as two singing legends came together
A voice that moved the world to the Titanic tragedy, who wore a black turtleneck and hat, rose to McCartney’s show clapping and raising her fists in the air as she enjoyed the ex-Beatles star’s performance alongside her son René-Charles, 24, and 14-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy.
Widowed by the loss of her hudband René Angélil, who died in 2016 from throat cancer, Celine Dion was diagnosed with the rare autoimmune and neurological disorder in August 2022, but it has not deterred the 57-year old singing icon from enjoying the music while limiting her public appearances.
