Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha claimed that India skipper Suryakumar Yadav did shake hands with him in private at the start of the Asia Cup tournament but refused to do the same when the cameras were on in exposing the Indian captain’s two timing behavior.
The Pakistan captain did not mince words slamming India for disrespecting cricket.
The politicising of the Asia Cup reached its height when India chose not to receive the Asia Cup trophy from Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi.
It got worse when Naqvi left the venue with the trophy in the running political rift between the two cricket playing countries which has by now rocketed to the playing fields.
