Arjun Tendulkar, son of former India cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, did not strike gold in the game of cricket like his great all-time record holding father.

Although breaking out to the game with an exhilarating century in first class cricket giving traces of a like father like son trail, however Arjun has not lived up to the mark to making it to representing India while though continuing to play in the IPL for Mumbai Indians though not gaining selection this year.
In contrast to dad Sachin, Arjun who pursued a bowling career, has again not really made the mark to making the Indian team.

In that lull though Arjun has made the biggest catch in his life getting engaged to Saaniya Chandok, granddaughter of Mumbai business moghul Ravi Ghai, on Wednesday August 13.
News of Sachin Tendulkar’s son’s engagement spread like wildfire with the Indian media agog about the celebrity event being attended only by close family and friends.

The 25-year old Arjun, much taller than dad Sachin, is said to have found cupid in his sister Sara’s close friend in a romance that has blown over to becoming the most sizzling news in India.

Saaniya hails from a family deeply rooted in India’s food and hospitality sector. The Ghai family runs the Graviss Group, which owns The Brooklyn Creamery and manages Baskin Robbins’ India operations. While The Brooklyn Creamery’s standalone net worth is not disclosed, Graviss Food Solutions Private Limited, the parent company, posted ₹624 crore in revenue for FY23-24, marking a 20% growth from the previous year. The company has an authorised capital of ₹2.23 crore and a paid-up capital of ₹90,100.

Saaniya, meanwhile, is an animal enthusiast and businessperson. She is the owner and manager of Mr. Paws, a pet spa and boutique. Being the daughter ofh the Graviss Group, which operates the InterContinental Hotel on Marine Drive and ice cream companies such as Brooklyn Creamery, she mingles a high-profile business pedigree with her own solo ventures. An LSE Class of 2020 graduate, she also obtained a certification as a veterinary technician in 2024.
