Kamil Mishara staged a virtual lone battle by a rearguard 65 off 79 hitting 7 boundaries as Sri Lanka A lost to Australia A the opening unofficial ODI by 198 runs at Darwin on Friday July 4.
Only two other Lankan batsmen reached double figures – Pavan Rathnayake 28 off 37 with 2 boundaries and Sonal Dinusha 10 off 32.
After being put in to bat, Australia A amassed up 324 for 4 wickets and bowled out Sri Lanka A for 134 in 35.4 overs. Test discard opener Nathan McSweeney struck a blazing unbeaten 85 inclusive of 9 boundaries and a six for Australia A
Australia’s Sam Elliott took 5 for 14 and Billy Stanlake 3 for 18.
