Sri Lanka’s Cricket Selectors headed by Upul Tharanga, a former versatile opening batsman who made a telling impact during his career particularly pairing with the Master Blaster, Sanath Jayasuriya, has named a 16-member squad in which a noteworthy feature has been shifting former test opening batsman Nishan Madushka, who was a conspicuous omission from the SL test team, to the ODI squad for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh to be worked off on July 2, 5, and 8.
The opening two matches will be played at Colombo’s R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, and the final at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
