Pace bowler Nimasara Atharagala claimed a box seat 4 box seat 4 wickets including the prize wicket of Dambulla skipper Dhananjaya de Silva for 8 in a 154 for 5 setback to giving Galle the edge leading by 216 runs at stumps on the second day in the final of the Sri Lanka Cricket National Super League tournament at the SSC Grounds yesterday.

Galle also owed much to opening batsman Oshada Fernando who scored 120 off 188 balls inclusive of 14 hits to the ropes.

Dambulla’s Mohamed Shiraz took 4 for 92 and Akila Dananjaya 2 for 92.

Dambulla’s opening batsman Ron Chandraguptha scored a back to the wall 65 off 95 balls hitting 9 boundaries with Sammu Ashan weighing in with 35 off 72 with 3 boundaries.
